Ruggedized Handheld Computers
Richmond Systems is pleased to offer our customers ruggedized Android based handheld hardware on which to run our MobileScale software.
For new handheld computers, we currently offer the Archer 4, available with the Allegro Wireless Keyboard.
We aim to offer the best hardware available for the job. Our software also runs on rugged handhelds and mobile devices from many manufacturers — a number of our clients use Trimble and Samsung devices.
Our Mobile Scale software is designed for these rugged handheld computers. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have an Android or Windows CE / Mobile handheld on which you’d like to try our software.
Please note: It is not necessary to purchase hardware from Richmond Systems in order to be able to run our software. If you have suitable hardware, we’ll help you get our software on it.
Archer 4
The Archer 4 is Juniper Systems’ newest rugged handheld — a modern, Android-based successor to the Allegro line. Paired with the Allegro Wireless Keyboard, it combines a large sunlight-readable touchscreen with the tactile keyboard data entry that scalers rely on.
